Cassandra Castro, ARNP MSN PMHNP
Cassandra is a bilingual psychiatric provider (Spanish/English) specializing in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and sleep disorders. She brings a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to care, with a special focus on supporting women and their families through pregnancy, postpartum, and major life transitions.
Cassandra’s clinical background includes experience in hospice, inpatient psychiatry, and public health settings. Since beginning her nursing career in 2016, she has remained committed to evidence-based and integrative mental health care, completing advanced training in EMDR and participating in global education initiatives, including the World Congress of Psychiatry.

Cassandra Castro is a bilingual Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering medication management, peripartum / postparum psychiatry services, EMDR therapy, and integrative mental health care to residents of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. She is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces for individuals of all backgrounds, with a special passion for working with adolescents, immigrants, and those navigating reproductive and perinatal mental health challenges.
Cassandra values the power of active listening and honors both traditional and alternative approaches to psychiatry. Her practice is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in evidence-based care.
Insurance Information
I am in network with most plans for: Kaiser Permanente WA, Aetna, Cigna, Ambetter, United Healthcare, Premera, Lifewise, Carelon, Regence BlueShield of WA, First Choice Health Network (and affiliate plans). I am out of network in Idaho and Oregon but offer super-bills to OON clients.
